Michael E. Enow, Esq.
Founder and President
Michael E. Enow, Esq. has built a career at the confluence of law, entrepreneurship and philanthropy. He possesses over two decades of legal practice experience in the areas of insurance, commercial, corporate, cross-border investments and civil law. Michael has represented clients in transactional and litigation settings, ranging from governments and international companies to solo entrepreneurs and small businesses. Yet, he has derived his most fulfilling professional experiences when he represents the average citizen against corporate behemoths such as insurance companies, manufacturers of defective products and banks. His quest as a lawyer has been to ensure that ordinary people have a fair shake against corporate and public institutions with far greater resources. Michael's entrepreneurial drive is fueled by a profound sense of purpose: the creation of employment and the opening of pathways to upward social and economic mobility for the younger generation. As Founder and Owner of Enow & Associates, APLC, and through his leadership roles with Corot Ventures Ltd., African Atlantic petroleum, Inc., Adage Healthcare Solutions, LLC, and most recently Evergreen Healthcare Concepts LLC, he has helped create jobs for hundreds of people across Africa and the United States. This same entrepreneurial instinct has informed his legal practice, where he has counseled emerging businesses on corporate structuring, capital raising, and policy development, enabling founders to turn ideas into sustainable, job-creating enterprises. A fervent believer in the use of education as a pedestal for growth, Michael has personally educated scores of young people through high school and university, investing directly in the next generation's potential. His commitment to giving back is demonstrated by his consistent support for charitable causes such as: the United Negro College Fund, Southern Poverty Law Centre, St. Jude Children's Hospital, Médecins Sans Frontières, Mercy Ships, the Smithsonian Museum of Art and the Veterans of Foreign Wars; a reflection of his belief that professional success carries with it a responsibility to invest in the wellbeing and advancement of others. He is a member of the American Bar Association, member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, member of the American Trial Lawyer's Association, member of the American Society of International Law and the Cameroon Bar Association. He is also a member of the U.S Tax Court in Washington DC and a Certified Arbitrator - Financial Industry National Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in the USA. He is a Bachelor of Laws and Maitrise en Droit graduate of the University of Yaoundé, and holds an LL.M in international law from the University of Lagos and another LL.M in Energy and Environmental Law from Tulane Law school in New Orleans, Louisiana. The founding of St. Michael's University Institute is the culmination of his long-standing commitment to educating and transforming the lives of young people.
