    Biography

Dr. Suh Nelson Neba is a Cameroonian agricultural scientist, agronomist, researcher, and agribusiness professional whose publicly available work focuses on crop protection, pest management, sustainable crop production, and agricultural entrepreneurship. He is associated with agricultural research and higher education in Buea, South-West Region of Cameroon. He holds a PhD in Crop Protection from the University of Buea.

He has contributed to agricultural development in Cameroon and beyond through scientific research, improved crop-production systems, integrated pest management, agricultural innovation, and farmer-oriented extension services. He has supported research institutions, agribusinesses, development organizations, and farming communities in translating scientific knowledge into practical solutions that improve productivity, sustainability, and rural livelihoods. His academic work connects agricultural research with practical crop-production challenges in Cameroon.

He has published more than four research works, including studies on the black maize beetle, Heteronychus arator, Limicolaria snail species affecting maize, and youth engagement in agriculture. His institutional affiliations reported in these publications include the Department of Agronomic and Applied Molecular Sciences at the University of Buea and the Institute of Agricultural Research for Development (IRAD), Batoke, Cameroon.

He is particularly interested in supporting farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, and other stakeholders in areas such as crop production and management, post-harvest handling, food processing and preservation, quality control, and the development of market-oriented agricultural enterprises. He has been a project lead to China to set up two large transformation units for the North and Far-North region funded by IFAD in Cameroon, a cassava production and processing project for D'Farma Ventures Ltd and Nature Core Ltd. Moreover, he has also been involved in setting up different transformation units for INTERSOS (Garri transformation unit), NRC, and UNDP, and has equally constructed 36 greenhouses in Bangem and Menji for bell pepper and tomatoes funded by PPRD-UNDP, just to name a few.

Beyond all the aforementioned synthesis of his biography, the most incredible is that he is particularly spiritually oriented and has attained Christian maturity, knowing his true identity in the hypostatic union of the Godhead. He is contingent to God Almighty for everything as the "Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is and which was and which is to come, the Almighty" (Rev. 1:8).
